Salinity Roadshow

Salinity Roadshow

Join West Hume Landcare & the NSW DPIE Salinity Basin team as we continue our series of targeted workshops on dryland salinity.

Learn how to:

  • identify and understand the processes driving waterlogging and salinity  on your farm

  • determine soil salinity and ground water salinity and depth

  • understand the impact on your productivity

  • make decisions on managing dryland salinity according to best management practices

  • access and use a range of salinity resources to support decision making on your farm

Our area has a diversity of landscapes & contains 6 different Hydrogeological Landscapes (HGLs), each requiring specific salinity management actions.  These workshops target the individual HGLs.

 Guest Speakers

We are fortunate to have Allan Nicholson & Andrew Wooldridge from DPIE NSW Basin Salinity Program join us from the Central West. They have decades of experience in salinity management and are looking forward to sharing their wealth of knowledge with you through this series of informative and engaging workshops.
