Community Planting Day

Join West Hume Landcare for a Community Planting Day!

This year we will be enhancing two special woodlands with ground covers and shrubs. This will involve hand-planting seedlings and distributing clay seed balls.

  • We will be planting over 400 shrubs and ground covers

  • Learn about the Grassy Woodlands project

  • Have fun, make a difference and connect with nature!

Please bring along gloves, sturdy footwear, favourite digging tool, hat, drink bottle and weather appropriate clothes.

  • Morning session 9.00-11.30am at “Thurso” Burrumbuttock

  • Afternoon session 1.00-3.30pm at “Roseview” Walla Walla

Directions will be sent to those registered prior to the day.

Come for one or both planting sessions!

Bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy between sessions in the grounds of beautiful Wirraminna in Burrumbuttock.

Cost: Free! Morning & afternoon tea provided
