Community Tree Planting Days
Have fun with West Hume Landcare as we enhance and connect the Grassy Woodlands within our region.
Come join in up to six on-farm community planting days over July – all within 15km of Burrumbuttock.
In the future, these plantings will provide food, homes and connections for Squirrel gliders, native birds and pollinators, give stock shade & shelter and help our water table.
All participants must follow our COVID-19 safety plan and:
Maintain social distance between participants that aren't from the same household
Wear a face mask
Regularly use hand sanitiser
Please bring along drink bottle and snacks
Please do not attend if:
You are unwell
You are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test
You have recently visited a COVID-19 hotspot
Planting Days will go for around 3 hours depending on the number of plants and the number of planters! Of course you can choose to stay for only the part of this time but we do ask you to arrive promptly at the starting time to enable registration and safety instruction. Please wear warm clothing and enclosed shoes.
The first scheduled planting day is next Tuesday 13 July with 5 other date/times in the weeks following this.
