Enhancing the biosecurity & biodiversity value of shelterbelts

Join West Hume Landcare for a walk and talk at Judy & Roger Frankenberg’s property, followed by morning tea. Hear about how they have created a biodiversity hotspot at “Warrangee”. Our other speakers include:

· Lou Bull, Squirrel Glider LAMP project who will discuss the importance of shelterbelts for
Squirrel Gliders

· Ben Humphries, BirdLife Australia who will lead a bird walk and talk and share tips and tricks on how to encourage and support bird diversity on farms

· Dr Mark Stillman our new District Vet from Murray Local Land Services, who will be on hand to discuss the biosecurity benefits of shelterbelts

· Dr Mason Crane, NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust who will share his knowledge on how to
enhance the biodiversity value of shelterbelts.

What to bring: Sturdy shoes, hat, drink bottle, binoculars
